Katie O’Mara (She/her)
President
Course & Year: Politics and International Relations, Placement Year
Favourite Musical: The Great Gatsby
Society Insights: I was this Society’s Musical Consultant 24/25 and will now be stepping into the role of President. This year, I am really looking forward to welcoming new people to the society by creating a welcoming community for all. I am hoping that our hard work and collaboration wil see the performance of three amazing shows, the success of continued fundraising, and the creation of many memories.

Course: Biomedical Sciences, Final Year
Favourite Musical: Mamma Mia
Society Insights: I was this Society’s Press and Publicity’s Officer 24/25 and will now be stepping into the role of Vice President. I am so excited to help shape another amazing year for the society. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to plan what is ahead, and I can’t wait to bring our ideas to life. I’m looking forward to jumping into the new year, welcoming new faces, seeing all the talent, and making unforgettable memories – both on and off stage.

Society Insights: I have just completed my first year at MTSoc. This year, I am looking forward to seeing another year of hardwork pay off with the most amazing people. This society has given me so many silly memories and I can’t wait for even more people to be apart of them.

Society Insights: I have just completed my first year at MTSoc and was elected to be the society’s Main Show Choreographer for Footloose. This year, I am looking forward to the year ahead, and am excited to advertise our great society whilst also keeping everyone connected. I also can’t wait to create new numbers for our showcase.

Society Insights: I have just completed a placement year and will be returning for my second year at MTSoc. I am excited for leading vocal sessions and incorporating complex harmonies in the society .
